First of all, there are several ways to clean your ducts. OK, we have to go in there and we have to inspect the ducts. Are they properly sealed? We have to see how dirty they are. How did they get dirty? Your air conditioning is supposed to be a sealed system. so we have to find out where the dirt is coming from, we need to eliminate that problem and then clean them at the same time.
Going forward they should not have to be cleaned that much if you’re changing your filters and doing your maintenance, just your basics in your house then you should be fine. The reason this is so important, especially when you move into a new house is because you don’t know what dirt is in there. Who lived there before and how did they live? Did they keep a clean house like you do? Did they have kids and dogs? Did they know what an air filter was? All of these things are factors.
